Short Black Opera Company (SBO) is a national Indigenous not-for-profit company based in Melbourne specialising in training and performance opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing artists.
Our regional engagement program, connects kids with the power of their voice! Led by our Artistic Director, Yorta Yorta Soprano, Composer and Educator Deborah Cheetham, this 5 day intensive is designed for kids from 10 – 14 years of age.
Dhungala Choral Connection is our annual choral camp. Based in Melbourne and on Yorta Yorta country every other year, this intensive brings Indigenous kids together from around the country to connect through power of song!
